The Sunglo™ model PSA265VE permanent post heater by Infrared Dynamics is an outdoor-rated natural gas heater ideal for open patio designs. The in-ground post minimizes the deck space required and positions these heaters at the ideal height for comfort and safety. Heat coverage varies depending on the wind exposure on the patio. The average spacing between heaters is 12 ft apart. The Sunglo™ PSA265VE is a 24Volt operated ignition system heater requiring 24 volts for the solenoid gas valve, which allows the heater to be turned on/off by a switch. The pilot doesn't have to be turned on manually. The switch on the wall will light the pilot and main burner and will relight itself if blown out by the wind. The switch on the wall does it all.
